Mexico Missions Trip
Each spring LRCC youth and adult chaperones travel to Northern Mexico on a missions
trip. Special teams are created to serve in various ministry projects while in
Mexico including worship, vacation bible school and local church construction.
The Mexico mission team is typically established in January of each year, so requests to participate need to be submitted by the end of December. Each team member is expected to participate in various fund raisers for the trip including several weekend work days. During these fund raisers, team members have an opportunity to work together, encourage one another and provide overall team building opportunities.
Adults on these trips primarily serve as chaperones and chauffeurs. We encourage the youth to work out activity details, schedules and issues by themselves and through their appointed youth leaders before involving the adults.
This is a wonderful service opportunity for LRCC youth to experience first-hand and be blessed by missions work in another country and culture. Contact Pastor David Rice for further information.
