The Mid-Week Encouragement Class is a safe place where women can share and know it's confidential.
Here women find a weekly pick-me-up, a time of fun and laughter, a time of encouragement in God's
word, in prayer, and in fellowship. As sisters in God's family we learn and grow together. At the
present time we are studying the Power of Language from God's spoken, written and living Word.
Special Projects: We support the Ukraine Children's Aide Fund, and have raised several thousand
dollars this past year. Also, we have made over 120 stocking caps, scarfs and mittens that Adele
Ames will be taking to the orphanage in the Ukraine in April. Once a month we have a special luncheon
and knitting class after our regular meeting. Additionally, we have visited the jail, the hospital,
and several shut-ins to encourage and share the love Jesus.
Consistently, we have met each week for the past seventeen months. Weekly transportation can be provided
for those who are unable to drive to the meeting location. For more information about our class, please
