Greg Rongley studied biology and chemistry at Trinity College in Deerfield, IL, and married Melissa before their senior year.  Greg next studied bioethics and theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, then philosophy at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI (He’s still a few years shy of his Ph. D., and will likely stay that way!).  During the week, Greg now teaches science at Yuba City High School, where he has taught since 2001.

On the weekends, he likes to play video games, read, hike, backpack, canoe, rock-climb, snorkel, sail, spelunk, hunt, or do anything in the outdoors with his family or his sons’ Boy Scout troop or daughter’s Girl Scout Troop.  He currently serves a Scoutmaster with Troop 389 in Yuba City, and is an instructor with HAT (the High Adventure Team of Scout leaders) in the Golden Empire Council of Boy Scouts.

Greg enjoys challenging adult believers to engage with God’s Word and to discern what the whole Bible says about questions that concern all of us.  On Sunday mornings, he has taught classes in systematic theology, heresy and orthodoxy, and contemporary issues (including sexual ethics, piety and politics, origins, and parenting.)
