Prayer is an important part of our daily walk with the Lord. Our Father desires us to talk to Him about our needs and concerns for ourselves and for others. According to 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we are to “pray continually.”

James talks about praying in faith in James 5:13-16, “Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

God does hear and will answer our prayers because 1 John 5:14-15 says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”

Both the leadership of our church and the Intercessory Prayer Ministry provide prayer support and covering to those in need of prayer. Our prayer team members will pray in agreement with what God says in His Word regarding your situation and allow His power to work in your need!

If you have a prayer need, use our online prayer request form. Our prayer team will be very glad to pray for you.

Additionally, LRCC has a prayer line that you can call. This is a separate ministry where a chain of dedicated LRCC church members will pray for your request. Please contact the church office (530) 743-5435 for more information.
